Posting Summary |
The Director of Interprofessional Practice and Education (
IPE) will lead and collaborate on the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of interprofessional education programs and initiatives within the School of Health Professions at Rutgers University. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs, this individual will foster collaboration across disciplines and healthcare settings, ensuring students are prepared to work effectively in team-based environments. The Director will work closely with faculty, staff, and in specific instances with clinical partners to integrate interprofessional education into the curriculum and create impactful learning experiences that enhance patient-centered care and promoting health in communities. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Education and Experience:
- A Doctoral degree in a health-related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic administration, interprofessional education, or a related area.
- Prior experience in healthcare settings and working with interdisciplinary teams is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of interprofessional education theory, principles, and best practices.
- Experience in curriculum development, teaching, and assessment in an academic healthcare environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and promote collaborative efforts.
- Demonstrated commitment to a beloved community and improving health equity.
