• Advanced knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, procedures, and concepts in a particular field
• Knowledge of company/industry safety and health policies and programs, as required, for specific roles
• Good written/verbal skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, vendors, and customers
• Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures, and guidelines required to perform assigned tasks
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds, bend, stoop, and remain standing for extended periods of time

You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Steam Generator Closure Task Lead in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the proven team in the Steam Generator Services Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. This role supports hands-on maintenance activities using a variety of stud/bolt tensioning and SG cover handling devices at customer sites. Work is performed according to instructions and established procedures and/or guidelines and under direct supervision of a more experienced associate or supervisor. These tasks will require work around radioactive equipment and/or corrosive chemicals where the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be utilized. Your work will include:

• Installs, troubleshoots, assembles and disassembles, repairs and maintains tooling and equipment at plant sites; may include equipment associated with, inspecting and maintaining Steam Generator and components.
• Conducts a variety of routine and non-routine tasks, operates specialized equipment, takes measurements, extracts and compiles data regarding equipment and process performance; collates data on task and outage performance.
• Develops calculations, tables, reports and related data; maintains maintenance logs and certification documents.
• Develops maintenance procedures, problem reports, field schedules, and task close out reports, as needed.
• Participates in planning and executing projects; assists in preparation of proposal and procurement documents.
• May provide input to training materials and may conduct training, as needed.
• Complies with all applicable safety and health rules including personal dose compliance.
• Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service.
• May require extensive travel to a variety of regional and remote job sites. Occasional International travel may be required as well.
• Will require unescorted nuclear site access.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $30.20 - $39.50 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
