Telecom Vice President of Project Management

Genesis10 is seeking a Telecom Vice President of Project Management for a remote direct hire, W2 position. This position can be located in Ohio or Texas.

** Salary $130-150k plus 30% annual bonus

Job Description:

The Vice President of Project Management will lead the strategic direction, execution, and continuous improvement of the Project Management Office (PMO). This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale fiber deployment initiatives across multiple markets, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The VP will build and mentor a high-performing team, implement standardized project management methodologies, and drive operational excellence across all project portfolios.

Job Duties:

• Lead the development and implementation of project management frameworks, tools, and best practices across the organization.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all fiber deployment projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cross-functional teams including Engineering, Construction, and Market Operations to ensure seamless project execution.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to track project performance and drive accountability.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.
• Develop and manage capital and operational budgets related to project execution.
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management for external partners.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and optimize future performance.
• Represent the PMO in executive leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale engineering / telecommunications projects.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software and enterprise reporting tools
