Procurement Technical Business Analyst

Schaumburg, IL/Hybrid

What you'll be doing:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement/Procure-to-pay Technical Business Analyst with expertise in commodity procurement technologies and a broad technical understanding of business processes. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, including hands-on SAP configuration, and will play a critical role in optimizing procurement workflows, integrating SAP solutions, and supporting business operations.

Details about what you will be doing:

  • Analyze and enhance SAP P2P processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and warehouse management.
  • Collaborate with business owners and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP MM (Materials Management) and P2P modules to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Lead workstream projects, develop functional specifications, test plans, and training materials.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP P2P and other business functions (Finance, Order-to-Cash, Quality Management, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, ensuring high-quality turnaround for tickets and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise in SAP configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Stay updated on SAP best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Manage/lead technology in procurement processes, including demand intake, sourcing, pricing, risk management, and contract negotiations.
  • Integrate commodity-specific pricing models and risk assessment tools within SAP.

What you'll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Procurement / P2P business analysis and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP MM, P2P processes, and integration with other SAP modules.
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Expertise in commodity procurement technologies, including SAP or other technologies
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with SAP implementation projects and system enhancements.
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, IT, Business, or related field
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Incorta data platform are pluses.
  • Knowledge of EDI, APIs, and automation tools.

Primary Location: Schaumburg IL/Hybrid three days a week in-office

Travel Required - 10%

Total RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $114,272.80 - $142,841.00 and is bonus eligible.

Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities. During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
