WORK SHIFT

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Performs routine clerical duties such as photocopying materials, filing and typing.

2. Controls entry of authorized personnel and visitors on Company premises.
3. Greets visitors and directs them to appropriate location.
4. Responds to routine telephone requests which generally have standard answers and refers calls
and visitors to appropriate staff.
5. Intervenes in case of robbery, vandalism and other risks to company personnel or installations.
6. Maintains visitor logs, security reports and records.
7. Conducts patrols of grounds to ensure security.
8. Ensures timely corrective action in response to reported security incidents.
9. Enter, update and print badges for card access system.
10.Guards and protects property/facilities/people against theft, vandalism, illegal entry and other related issues.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with three years of related experience.
* Must have current State of Utah Security License/background check and/or prior law enforcement experience.
* Must have current State of Utah firearm permit.
* Must have current First Aid certification.
* Demonstrated knowledge of covert surveillance and building card access and physical camera systems.
* Demonstrated knowledge of fire and emergency procedures.
* Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software programs.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
