JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, designs, implements and tests software of embedded devices and systems; monitors and enhances the efficiency and stability of the systems.
Responsibilities
The Service Technologies section delivers three releases per year labeled A, B and C (for example, 2026A, 2026B and 2026C) for the Windows based service tool, Remote Troubleshoot, and Local Troubleshoot products.
*Implement application data for each release, as specified by internal Cat Electronics customers, for all products.
*Implement calibration and service procedure data for each release, as specified by internal Cat Electronics customers, for all products.
*Implement service tool simulation applications (i.e. Trainer) as schedule permits.
*Apply engineering controls to implemented data, and resolve errata with workgroup Application Engineers, team lead, and/or Cat Electronics customers.
*Develop and maintain the workgroup process documentation as required.
*Develop and maintain workgroup and/or personal process tools as required.
*Develop and maintain Cat Electronics facing process tools as required (e.g. OIP Information Services).
