The Field Enablement Operations team


The Enablement Operations team serves as the Center of Excellence for planning, systems, analytics, and program infrastructure that power our global enablement strategy. This team ensures operational rigor, scalable execution, and data-driven insights that enable high-impact learning and field productivity.

The Senior Manager, Field Enablement PMO opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Field Enablement Operations, the Senior Manager, Field Enablement PMO to build and lead our Project Management Office (PMO) within the Enablement Operations organization. You'll be responsible for defining project management standards, implementing frameworks and tools, managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives, and coaching a small team to excellence. This role requires deep expertise in project management, strong leadership presence, and a collaborative mindset to partner across teams.

What you'll be doing



  • Building and leading the Project Management Office (PMO), establishing standards, processes, and tools for consistent execution across global Enablement initiatives
  • Acting as a player-coach, leading complex projects yourself while mentoring team members to deliver against their portfolios
  • Developing and implementing scalable project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) that align with business needs and enable high-quality execution
  • Owning project intake, prioritization, tracking, and reporting processes while partnering closely with Field Enablement, Change management, and Enablement Operations
  • Driving operational rhythm and governance, including project status reporting, risk/issue management, stakeholder communication, and post-mortems
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to the Enablement LT, translating strategy into actionable project plans with clear milestones and outcomes
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement


What you'll bring to the role & what we're looking for



  • 8+ years of experience in an Enablement role specifically focused on managing projects in support of the Field
  • Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role; comfortable working in a player-coach capacity
  • Proven experience building or scaling a PMO function within a global or matrixed organization
  • Active PMP certification is required
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility
  • Expert in project planning tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-informed approach to prioritization and reporting
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational readiness best practices
  • Passion for team development, mentorship, and operational excellence

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$158,000 $236,000 USD
