Senior Hazardous Materials Technician EH&S Admin Full Time 85159BR Job Summary Senior Hazardous Materials Technician supports both campus research and health operations at UCSF and are responsible for managing hazardous, medical, radioactive, and controlled substance waste, receiving radioactive materials and controlled substances used in research and health care, testing emergency showers and eyewashes, certifying chemical fume hoods, performing radiation surveys, calibrating radiation survey meters, and preparing and decontaminating patient rooms used for radiation therapies.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $33.80 - $40.70 (Hourly Rate).
