Position Summary

Lead the corporate logistics function to include, but not limited to, developing strategy and vision, and policy and procedures, defining roles and responsibilities for the global organization, and mentoring functional personnel throughout global organization. Provide operational Trade Compliance leadership related to the movement of material and assets.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

* Establish a vision and strategy for our global logistics requirements that optimizes the Total Cost of Ownership while achieving the required service levels. Work with appropriate leaders and global logistics team to achieve the vision and strategy within applicable budget constraints.
* Manage the operational aspect of Trade Compliance related to Material and Assets movements globally. Manage the requirements to ensure global compliance to all geographical regulations including ITAR requirements as applicable.
* Ensure the timely performance of logistic function to support business and project requirements. Provide leadership and support to regional logistics and trade teams on larger or complex logistic or compliance tasks as required
* Ensure all global regulatory requirements are met for International Trade and our program is capable of withstanding internal and external audits.
* Ensure integrity of trade compliance and logistics data in our EPR system. Optimize process to obtain and manage the data.
* Partner with Category Management to identify and select strategic logistics partners. Manage our strategic relationships with logistic partners and rationalize supply base as appropriate.
* Mentor business unit and regional logistics personnel. Develop technical skill sets, and work with business unit and regional leaders to ensure skill sets to support their operations. Identify opportunities for improvement and lead organization to implement best practices.
* Develop and manage key business metrics as appropriate.
* Identify and justify technology requirements as appropriate.
* Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications

REQUIRED

* BA/BS with 7-10 years Logistics and Trade Compliance experience or equivalent education and experience.
* Minimum 3 years management experience.
* Thorough knowledge of global logistics channels to support international business.
* Experienced in International Trade Compliance and applicable laws.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Highly motivated and ability to work independently and implement change in a corporate environment.
* Advanced strategic planning expertise.

DESIRED

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, E-Matrix, Peoplesoft helpful.
