Position Summary:

Serve as a primary liaison for business partners and lead Retail Training related projects. Collaborates on development, assignment, updating, version control and printing and/or publishing of all Retail focused training tools and resources including Training Guides/Modules and all supporting role-based training content. Serves as Training SME and supports business partners with skilled facilitation rooted in adult learning principles, instructional design, and retail operational insights to ensure training content/assets/channel of delivery meets business and retail needs. Takes ownership of process and content development of training solutions and plans from inception to deployment including effectively identifying and cultivating stakeholder relationships and engagement.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leverage effective facilitation, consulting skills and use of cross-functional project management tools to identify stakeholders' business needs as they relate to current and future training requirements
  • Ensure all training materials and programs meet legal and regulatory requirements
  • Author agendas, outlines, process-oriented documentation where none exist and/or to lead discovery sessions with business partners
  • Proactively engage SMEs/department business partners to fully understand target audience needs, and subject complexities to design or revise learning and performance objectives
  • Recommend available tools and processes to assess KPIs for training
  • Design, develop and revise training assets and plans leveraging adult learning principles and knowledge of end user/learner role-based responsibilities
  • Create engaging training and development experiences that integrate multiple delivery channels, including but not limited to instructor-led, experiential, SOPs and digital (self-paced and live)
  • Invite and apply creative approaches to develop training experiences that achieve objectives and meet the needs of the target audience
  • Leverage available training and workforce data to inform training recommendations
  • Use excellent communication skills -- verbal, written, designed -- and effectively and efficiently adapts/adjusts communication based on its context and delivery channel
  • Responsible for successful, on-time project completions, complete with identifying setup needs/nuances in SuccessFactors and submitting clear direction for ADUSA LMS Team.
  • Takes initiative, uses good judgment and critical thinking, works interdependently
  • Develop assessments and adapt existing materials in other formats.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience of instructional design techniques, concepts and application and curiosity to continue to learn more
  • Knowledge of LMS administrative functions and experience with SuccessFactors ,
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; detail and process oriented
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, internally & externally
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, complex projects autonomously
  • Demonstrated expertise to act consultatively, including critical and strategic thinking skills to probe for understanding, and identify issues/opportunities as they relate to training and development needs/solutions
  • Proficiency in current Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Loop,)
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 suite, and experience with digital authoring tools
  • Knowledge of concepts and practices of adult learning and current trends in technology-based learning
  • Ability and comfort in leading meetings, and/or delivering presentations
Preferred:
  • Minimum 5- 7 years' experience in a training focused role for Retail environment
  • Sales/Retail experience and/or knowledge of sales/Retail skill development tools are a plus
  • Instructional design experience and knowledge of multiple digital authoring tools
  • Experience with SuccessFactors learning management system
  • BS/BA/Certification in Learning Design or Instructional Technologies or Adult Learning

The Salary Range for this Position is $75,040 - $112,560
