Leasing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of lease accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842, IFRS 16).
• Utilize Visual Lease software to maintain accurate and up-to-date lease subledger records.
• Prepare and review lease-related journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper lease classification and reporting.
• Conduct regular audits of lease agreements and related financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff on lease accounting processes and Visual Lease software.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for lease accounting to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports related to lease accounting.
• Stay updated on changes in lease accounting standards and regulations, and ensure the company's practices remain compliant.
• Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities related to leases.
