PURPOSE
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Beaverton, OR. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site technical support to customers, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on-site technical support to customers
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Install and configure new equipment
- Train customers on proper use of equipment
- Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
AND SKILLS
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and travel to customer sites
The pay range for this role in Beaverton, OR is between $60,600 and $79,590. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
