POSITION

Allspring is looking for an experienced compensation leader to construct, plan, coordinate, and lead all aspects of the company's global compensation plans. They will review and adjust existing programs, ensuring they align with current legislation, support the recruitment process, and manage daily compensation-related activities.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Lead the annual global compensation planning cycles, providing expert counsel on the design, development, and administration of compensation programs, salary structures, promotion, and short-term and long-term incentive plans.
  • Evaluate and modify existing compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Research standard methodologies and trends and perform analysis on the efficiency and competitiveness of existing compensation programs. Present findings and creative solutions to leadership.
  • Develop new, competitive, and cost-efficient programs to assist with employee retention and attract top talent where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable global, federal, state, and corporate rules, regulations, and policies governing compensation.
  • Work with recruiters and business partners to review compensation of external candidates. Provide recommendations on new hire compensation packages.
  • Partner closely with Finance and Operations group on the year-end compensation process.
  • Ensure continuous high quality, accuracy, and efficiency of reporting to external authorities, consultants, and internal departments where necessary.
  • Identify trends and patterns in sales compensation data to proactively address potential issues and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee day to day activities of compensation analyst, providing ongoing coaching and professional development to support growth and effectiveness

The ideal candidate will bring outstanding experience that will support Allspring in defining standard methodologies, attracting top-tier employees, and mitigating turnover.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a compensation leader or in a related role.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Relevant certifications, such as a CEBS or SHRM certification, are preferred.
  • Experience in crafting and implementing compensation programs, including base pay, sales incentives, and benefits.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Successful experience leading compensation activities within financial services, with asset management experience a plus.
  • Expert-level proficiency with the MS Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management, problem analysis, and resolution collaboration.
  • Experience managing compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Must be extremely organized, self-motivated, and capable of growing in a rapidly changing environment while managing constantly shifting priorities.
  • Effective oral and written communication and organizational skills with the ability to build clear and concise insights, reports, and dashboards.


Base Pay Range: $150,000 - $165,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary bonus programs, or other annual or non-annual incentive or sales plans.)
