MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT OCHIN

Position Overview

The Epic Resolute PB/PB Claims Application Analyst on our Install team supports the mission of OCHIN by configuring and supporting clinical applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) software for our Ambulatory member clinics. This role consults with members to provide solutions that offer accurate, secure, and efficient patient care and provider workflows, medical and billing information for patient's providers and clinics, and usage of Epic front desk application and related ancillary services, with a focus on quality outcomes for our member organizations.

Essential Duties

  • Perform routine build and configuration in Epic and related products.
  • Act as Level 2 technical support for many ancillary integrated products. This entails:

o Collecting and resolving issues

o Coordinating with Help Desk on JIRA resolution

o Helping the product owner to put together agendas for vendor calls

o Representing OCHIN on vendor calls from a technical perspective

  • Operate alongside the Member Care Team framework, being a key contributor to the overall goals of the team support model.
  • Serve as internal advisor to other analyst as the lead working sessions with OCHIN members to resolve advanced and complex integration work orders and support issues.
  • Discuss and provide workflow solutions and ensure understanding of the system through hands on training.
  • Document build specifications, team processes and complex clinic workflows.
  • QA complex builds, Service Update (SU) modifications, and other work orders.
  • Collaborate with members from other OCHIN teams to address integration issues.
  • Provide elbow support to clinic staff during Go-Lives and Mock clinics as needed.
  • Lead trainings and workgroups for members.
  • Mentor, coach, and train less experienced analysts.
  • Develop and share workflow best practices.
  • Travel to support off-site new member software installations up to 20%
  • Assist Project Managers in identifying system capabilities.
  • Build, design, test, and document functionality of new system features.
  • Provide process improvements within your application or team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar or relevant role
  • The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as an Epic Applications Analyst, with a minimum of 2 years of build experience.
  • Work history in Healthcare IT is required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or a combination of college education and 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Epic Resolute PB Certification is required
  • Epic Resolute PB Claims certification is highly desired
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 20 % nationally to support Go Lives.

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint ($96,544), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member healthcare organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirement for this position.

  • It is a requirement that employees work in a distraction free workplace
  • Travel will be required up to 20% to support our member organizations on-site up to 10% based on business requirements for OCHIN
