- As a member of the Corporate Security Team, you will provide day-to-day multi-disciplinary security support in coordination with numerous security programs/activities to ensure compliance with Government and customer policies and procedures.
- Administer and coordinate Department of Defense and other industrial security programs onsite, assisting the Facility Security Officer with maintaining security compliance with 32CFR, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Provide applicable security guidance and interpretation to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist the Corporate Security Team in the maintenance and management of all personnel security records including, but not limited to clearance statuses, training compliance, access rosters, PIFs, and visit requests (VARs)-in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures.
- Assist the Corporate Security Team in the performance of Alternate Contractor SAP/Special Security Officer duties as assigned by the Industrial Security Manager in accordance with Government and customer policies and procedures.
- Assist in the creation and facilitation of onboarding, refresher, and remedial training as required. Provide required briefings to all cleared personnel via various mediums.
- Assist the Corporate Security Team with after hours alarm notifications received from the monitoring company. Must be able to respond within one hour when scheduled.
- Assist with the processing of all Foreign Travel reporting requirements and tracking of compliance across all cleared personnel.
- Partner with the Corporate Security Team and Program Managers in the quality assurance review process of all external deliverables to ensure a first-time quality product.
- Assist the Facility Security Officer and Contractor SAP/Special Security Officer with required self-inspections as needed.
What Success Looks Like in 6 Months
- You've taken ownership of key security databases and program access processes and alongside your team, implemented improvements that increased accuracy in external deliverables, product quality, and reporting efficiency.
- You've built strong working relationships within your team, internal stakeholders and external partners across the DoD and IC community.
- You're recognized as a go-to equal partner on your team to advise on Corporate Security matters and consistently hold to compliance and operational readiness to achieve mission success.
- You have achieved certification as a Facility Security Officer for Possessing Facilities.
Qualifications
Must Haves
- High school diploma required; advanced coursework or certifications in Program Security and/or Facility Security Officer preferred.
- 1-3 years of direct experience in DoD or Intelligence Community security programs, with a working knowledge of all applicable policies and procedures.
- Completion of position related CDSE Correspondence Courses preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance required by start date.
- Exceptional work ethic, ownership in craft, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism and discretion.
