*Description*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven Healthcare Customer Service Representative for a remote opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting medical and dental providers to obtain missing or incomplete documentation for requested services. You will ensure compliance with contract specifications and deliver exceptional service through proactive communication and problem-solving. *Key Responsibilities* * Contact healthcare providers via phone, email, or fax to retrieve required documentation * Educate providers on documentation standards and service expectations * Analyze order requests and determine appropriate actions based on contract requirements * Begin on the fax receive team: sort, attach, and update documentation related to incoming faxes * Transition to documentation retrieval responsibilities after initial training * Maintain accurate and timely updates in internal systems * Meet performance targets, including documentation turnaround times and daily order volume * Work within a regional "pod" assigned to specific states or territories * Handle approximately 50-60 orders per day, averaging 7 orders per hour * Deliver white-glove service with a proactive, investigative approach * Build strong provider relationships by asking solution-oriented questions like "How can I help?" *Required Skills & Qualifications* * 1-2 years of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare support roles * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency in Office 365, Outlook, and general computer systems * Experience with inbound and outbound phone support * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment * High attention to detail and accuracy * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience working with healthcare providers or in a medical/dental administrative setting * Familiarity with documentation standards in healthcare services * Prior experience working with service-level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
