*Description*
PC & Mac Endpoint Support: oProvide Tier 2 technical support for Windows and macOS laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary. Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution: oPerform diagnostic tests to evaluate and isolate system problems. oResolve complex issues related to Windows, macOS, third-party applications (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud), network connectivity, and security. oTroubleshoot Outlook, OneDrive, BitLocker/FileVault, and various other common/recurring PC & Mac issues in a structured enterprise environment. Device Imaging, Configuration, Migration & Deployment: oImage, configure and deploy Windows and macOS endpoints for newly onboarded end-users, including deskside installation and cable-management of displays and peripherals. oImage and configure Windows and macOS endpoint replacements/upgrades for end-of-lifecycle devices as scheduled, ensuring the smooth migration of applications and data between devices for a painless end-user experience. User Support & Documentation: oEffectively utilize ServiceNow to document activities in detail within assigned Task and Incident records, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adherence to applicable SLA's oProvide timely and effective technical assistance to end-users via various channels (in-person, remote, chat, phone, ticketing system). oAssist users in understanding and utilizing IT systems and software effectively. oPerform various asset- and inventory-related tasks accurately and consistently to ensure all device records are up-to-date and reported counts are reliable. oDevelop and maintain clear technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles. System Maintenance & Security: oEnsure managed devices comply with security protocols and best practices. oImplement and maintain security configurations and patches. oProactively monitor and remediate incorrect or incomplete device enrollments and configurations. Collaboration: oWork closely with other IT teams (network, systems, security) to resolve complex issues and implement IT projects. oParticipate in regular review sessions with IT Support teams to enhance collective skills and capabilities. Required Skills and Qualifications: oExperience: 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in PC and Mac desktop support within a business or enterprise environment. omacOS Fluency: In-depth knowledge of modern macOS operating systems (beyond familiarity/casual use), including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization. oTroubleshooting Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues. oCustomer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and patiently to users of varying technical proficiency. oSoftware Knowledge: Experience supporting common PC and macOS applications such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, web browsers, and more. oNetworking Fundamentals: Functional understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network connectivity troubleshooting. Education: oAssociate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
