To drive continued success in this exciting Medical Device field, we are seeking a Marketing Manager - Defibrillation Systems to join our winning team.
Position Summary
Manage the Defibrillation Systems category in support of Mindray business objectives for the North American market. The Marketing Manager - Defibrillation Systems will be responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies, product launches, and downstream marketing initiatives to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for Mindray North America (MRNA). With the mindset "steward of the business," the manager will work cross-functionally with sales, global HQ, clinical education, and R&D teams to ensure successful positioning and commercialization of life-saving defibrillation technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing & Market Development: Develop and execute marketing strategies to maximize market share, penetration, and brand positioning. In support of the strategy, conduct SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and define target audience segmentation, competitive differentiation, and customer value propositions. Define pricing and promotional strategies aligned with market trends and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy & Product Launch: Lead end-to-end product launch planning for MRNA, including messaging frameworks, promotional strategies, and sales enablement tools that build upon deliverables from Mindray HQ. Collaborate with global and commercial teams to execute the launch excellence process, ensuring readiness across Sales, Clinical Education, and Customer Service teams. Implement omnichannel marketing campaigns leveraging appropriate activation channels, including digital, social media, events (such as trade shows), and other healthcare conferences. Measure launch success with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, revenue impact, and customer feedback. Support product enhancements and innovation initiatives by gathering market feedback and business intelligence and working closely with HQ on possible product enhancements. Pursue, develop, and support internal and external business partnerships (incl. White Label Business Development) and marketing agreements which create value to MRNA.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Global Marketing, R&D, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment on product positioning and commercialization. Work with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs), to refine market strategies and drive the credibility of Mindray in the marketplace. Ensure marketing strategies and activation comply with regulatory and legal requirements across North America.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Positioning: Conduct market scan, customer needs assessments, and demand forecasting to inform strategic decision-making. Analyze competitor activities, market gaps, SWOT, and innovation opportunities, adjusting tactics accordingly.
- Sales Team Support & Training: Create and deliver sales training materials, presentations, and educational content to enhance product knowledge. Equip sales teams with marketing collateral, customer engagement tools, competitive insight,s and playbooks. Provide ongoing sales team support, ensuring marketing alignment with sales initiatives and revenue targets.
Position Requirements: Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related clinical, technical, or business area
- MBA or equivalent experience is desirable
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the applicable environment - marketing, sales, and/or clinical
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, or related industries required
- Demonstrated clinical application knowledge
- Marketing experience in upstream or downstream roles is desirable
- Experience in the Defibrillation Systems category is a plus
