About the Role

Juniper Networks is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Engineering Leader to lead technical leadership and operational excellence across the United States. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales Engineering, you will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for our Specialist Sales Engineering team. Your primary focus will be on executing strategies that drive measurable growth in Juniper's AI Campus and Branch networking solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing customer escalations and enabling channel partners.

Responsibilities

* Collaborate with the US Commercial Sales Leader to define and execute sales strategy and enablement plans to achieve revenue targets.

* Foster and increase partner awareness, preference, and adoption of Juniper's solutions.

* Conduct structured technical enablement initiatives including solution demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), webinars, and workshops.

* Align Sales Engineering resources effectively to support sales strategies and partner imperatives.

* Set clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals that align with the business and partner strategies.

* Oversee Sales Engineering staffing, professional development, and workflow management.

* Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to drive the business.

* Lead our white glove technical strategy, driving POCs, solution design, deployment guidance and customer satisfaction issues.

* Secure technical wins and cultivate long-term, strategic life-long customer and partner relationships.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of proven Sales Engineering or leadership experience in technology sales or network engineering roles.

* Deep knowledge and experience with Wi-Fi fundamentals, site surveys, and network design tools (e.g., Ekahau, Hamina).

* Solid understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), Layer 2/3 switching, and network security (NGFW, AAA/802.1x, PKI).

* Familiarity with network operating systems, particularly Junos, is highly desirable.

* Exposure to programming, automation, and APIs (such as Postman, JSON, and Python).

* Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills with experience addressing executive and technical audiences.

* Demonstrated success in leading teams, aligning resources strategically, and driving sales growth.

* Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within the US and to corporate locations as needed.

Preferred Certifications

* JNCIA-Junos (or higher)

* CWNA (or higher)

* JNCIA-Mist (or higher)

* Relevant certifications from vendors such as Aruba, Cisco, Amazon, or Microsoft.

Minimum Salary: $215,424.00

Maximum Salary:$309,672.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $215,424.00 and $309,672.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
