GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this position is to assist with the inbound receiving of production materials and the outbound delivery of materials to production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Resonsibilities:



  • Using imbed reports to compile daily picks and accurately pick daily imbed reports from the existing inventory.
  • Deliver picks to assigned areas on time.
  • Uses proper equipment to unload truck deliveries.
  • Cross-checking deliveries against packing slips efficiently and ensuring accuracy of orders.
  • Storing product in assigned locations using proper equipment.
  • Performs daily cycle counting, as well as monthly and annual physical inventory.
  • Loads necessary materials, tools, and equipment onto trailers in preparation for field service deliveries.


Responsibilities could also entail:



  • Stripping forms by pulling finished cured goods off forms and loading onto trailer.
  • Cleaning forms after product is removed using a scraper, steel wool, shovels, sanders, solvents, etc.
  • Setting up forms for pouring, including cutting and placing rebar, pulling or "stressing" rebar strand, tying mesh, and installing imbeds (including plates, vectors, and core walls) and setting side rails.
  • Pouring concrete, including placing, raking, and shoveling concrete.
  • Finishing concrete using various tools/methods such as smooth float, steel trowel, brooming, raking and power trowels to achieve a desired finish.


EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and blueprint.
  • Ability to get to work on time, daily.
  • Willingness and ability to work outside year-round (as required)
  • Ability to use hand/power tools.
  • Ability to operate a standard fork-lift and rough terrain fork-lift.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally.
  • Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
  • Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently.


WORKING CONDITIONS:



  • Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
  • Moderate to high risk of safety precautions.
  • Moderate to high exposure to production environment.
  • Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific)
  • Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific)
