Job Description JOB DETAILS Base Pay: $24 to $29 per hour based on experience Monday- Friday 6am to 2pm with overtime as needed Benefits start day 1 Weekly Pay DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Associate can plan, maintain tooling, and fabricate replacement parts utilizing all fabrication and machining equipment. Performs basic to complex grounds/facilities repairs and ensures accuracy of records and safety in all operations.
- Provide proper, timely service to maintenance customers (production, warehouse, paint line, etc.)
- Generate requisitions in Maintenance Connection for all maintenance equipment, parts, and supply purchases.
- Works with department supervisors to adjust inventory levels to minimum sustainable levels
- Receive, label, and stock parts notifying the requisitioners of received shipments.
- Very strong organizational and planning skills
- Knowledge of Windows applications including Excel and Word
- Keep Storeroom metrics
- Receive all parts ordered into the computer system and match all the paperwork against the purchase order.
- Perform inventory cycle counts regularly and create reports as requested for Plant
- Manages critical parts inventory, procures materials, and ensures timely availability of supplies.
- Management, analyzing parts usage and noting relevant trends in the data.
- Assist in planning work projects for the Maintenance Department
- Meet work specifications and quality standards for each assignment
- Identify needed parts to repair equipment and facility
- Complete required paperwork to order new parts and to track existing parts
- Coordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnel
- Seek ways to conserve resources and improve costs and efficiency
Qualifications
- Forklift experience is required
- Any logistics/supply chain experience is a plus
- 3+ years of direct CMMS experience(Maintenance Connection preferred)
- Strong organizational and planning skills are essential for effectively managing maintenance schedules and work orders.
- Must be able to distinguish colors and have correctable eyesight and correctable hearing
- Ability to lift up to 50pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist, and lift 51 to 100 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to handle multiple demands and pressure situations while working in a fast-paced production environment
- Position requires walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, crawling, bending, twisting
- Work in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to equipment noise, temperature extremes, and dust
- Required personal protective equipment, mechanical and electrical tools, and or fabrication/machining equipment required to complete the assigned task
- Safe work performance is required from each Team Member at all times
