Job Summary
The Contract Administrator position is responsible for all assigned group purchasing organizations (GPO) customers, integrated delivery network/health system (IDN) customers, individual customers, and sales representatives for a defined region. Reviews and updates membership for assigned groups. Responsibilities include bids, awards, quotes, contracts, eligibility, pricing, promo orders and fee/rebate programs for assigned customers. Responsible for assisting the Contract Marketing Team with a variety of contract coordination and administration tasks including data entry.
This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.

Responsibilities
- Develops implements, administers, and maintains contracts under area of responsibility including contract eligibility and contract pricing in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
- Acts as the liaison between assigned accounts and the Company's functional groups. Interfaces directly with customers of assigned accounts regarding bids and contract amendments/documents.
- Works cross-functionally with the Commercial Contracting and Analysis Analysts, Contract Administrators, Sales, National Account Managers, Finance, Legal, Chargebacks, Customer Service, and the Data Master teams.
- Develops and coordinates assigned account contracts, amendments, new product offers, contract implementation and maintenance including contract eligibility and Class of Trade (COT) review.
- Enter pricing and maintain various records within the ERP system as requested ensuring all approvals are documented in the applicable file and/or database.
- Create and manage customer agreements for assigned accounts.
- Responsible for initial set up of new contracts and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor group email box and gain required approvals.
- Research and resolve pricing disputes for hospital accounts.
- Manages assigned accounts and their members and investigates complaints/issues and achieves equitable resolutions.
- Facilitates the various internal functional groups (Order Services, Customer Operations, Chargebacks, Legal, IT, etc.) as they relate to assigned accounts and their members, to include written correspondence, contract updates and maintenance, EDI issues, chargeback discrepancies, credits, membership etc.
- Develops and communicates all pertinent information regarding assigned customers, as necessary, to the field sales force and internal management team.
- In collaboration with the sales organization, develops and prepares quotes, special pricing orders, and contract documents according to department and corporate SOPs and assigned customer agreement language.
- Facilitate and support the implementation of process improvements in Commercial Operations.
- All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy and Quality Management System as per your roles and responsibilities.
- Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent related work experience.
- 1-3 years of related work experience (Prior experience in contracting and price administration a plus).
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, hospital/pharmacy products, and/or medical device contractual terms and conditions is strongly preferred.
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Model N and SAP experience is a plus.
- Team player with ability to take direction from multiple individuals and interact effectively cross-functionally
- Ability to consistently accomplish a large volume of work accurately.
- High level of learning aptitude.
