Associate Controller

We're looking for an Associate Controller to assist with the management of the overall financial reporting operations of the Company and supports the efforts of the Controller, Director of Finance, and VP and Chief Financial Officer.

Typical Functions

• Coordinate and assist month-end close processes along with preparing accurate monthly financial statements for distribution to leadership and key stakeholders.

• Calculate month-end income tax liabilities.

• Perform cash management, bank reconciliation and bank relationship duties with Treasury Department.

• Establish and maintain internal controls.

• Coordinate the annual external audit process with independent outside accountants (Domestic and Int'l).

• Provide monthly, quarterly, year-end and various other analyses.

• Provide key role in managing and implementing ERP upgrades and replacements.

• Manage one or more functional accounting areas, in addition to training and mentoring accounting staff.

• Collaborate with Controller to develop and drive continuous improvements in accounting policies and procedures.

• Assist the Controller in additional special projects.

• Respond to questions and informational requests from managers, vendors, and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• 7+ years relevant business experience.

• CPA Preferred.

• Strong financial systems and excel experience required.

• Detail-oriented nature.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Excellent supervisory skills.

• Expertise in accounting standards and policies, as well as federal and state income tax regulations.
