Location/Region: This position is located in one of our offices, Maple Gove, MN, Hebron, KY, White Plains, NY, Dublin, CA or Santa Ana, CA, Wixom, MI or Cornelius, NC. Hybrid work, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.

What's the role?

The Sales Excellence Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate quotation processes while leveraging data to drive sales insights and enhance overall sales performance. This role involves collaborating with sales teams to streamline quotation workflows and utilizing data analytics to optimize sales strategies and effectiveness. The specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing sales productivity by analyzing sales processes, documenting and implementing strategies, providing training, and utilizing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and improve sales outcomes.

Here's what you'll do:

Quotation and Pricing Support

  • Manage the complete quotation process to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.

  • Facilitate training sessions for the IQS SSC Quoting system for sales team members and channel partners.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for streamlined workflows.

  • Regularly review quotations for compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

  • Maintain detailed records of quotations and related documentation for auditing and reference.

  • Update global product database (PIM) with current product information.

  • Manage "Favorites" and maintain product and pricing information in Salesforce CPQ.

  • Assist in placing products for sale on the customer-facing e-commerce web shop.

  • Support Product Management by modeling pricing for new products and services.

Data Analysis

  • Use data analytics tools to examine sales data and generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.

  • Working with the Sr. Sales Excellence Specialist, prepare and deliver reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts to senior management.

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing sales data to pinpoint opportunities and track key performance indicators.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Partner with sales teams to understand their needs and support them in achieving sales targets.

  • Work with departments like marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

  • Deliver training and support to sales teams on quotation tools and data analysis techniques.

  • Collaborate with teams such as marketing and customer service to bolster sales efforts and contribute to overall business objectives.

Do you qualify?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, accounting, or information technology.

  • 2-3 years in sales support, quotation management, or a similar role, including managing quotation processes and collaborating with sales teams to improve efficiency.

  • Experience with (CRM) systems and quotation software, especially Salesforce CPQ.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Prior experience with SAP is advantageous.

The annual pay range for this position is $62,000 - $77,000.

The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
