We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Sr. DEI Specialist on our Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.

This position supports the HR DEI Director, to develop
enterprise-wide educational equity programs. This role will be responsible for
building content, facilitating trainings, and collaborating across HR to build
new equity content.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Workforce Equity Training/Facilitation

  • Develop and facilitate enterprise-wide educational equity programs and equity skills-based training for various stakeholders
  • Manage, organize, and implement equity training, and large-scale collective impact educational initiatives, through virtual, hybrid, in-person, and asynchronous events
  • Support BUs through facilitating educational sessions centered on identified equity and inclusion topics as needed
  • Facilitate sessions around sensitive equity/inclusion topics leading to identified, measurable next steps for different audiences

Workforce equity training content development

  • As DEI subject matter expert, collaborate with other parts of HR to create tools and programs pertinent to workforce equity content
  • Develop materials, presentations to support the expansion of existing skills-based modules and establish structures to support BU equity learning
  • Establish goals, objectives and desired outcomes criteria for skills-based equity training at the enterprise and BU levels
  • Create equity learning resources for all stakeholders
  • Ensure all content considers changing DEI regulations and aligns with existing equity curriculum
  • Plan, manage, and track equity trainings for a diverse slate of stakeholders through different modalities

Evaluation

  • Review and evaluate skills-based equity trainings and programs outcome and delivery
  • Analyze feedback and build on effectiveness of existing equity curriculum and recommend enhancements and/skills-based learning opportunities for various employee audiences

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree highly preferred (sociology, psychology, Human resources, Education or related field) or equivalent experience in workforce equity training and facilitation
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate DEI training and facilitation
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in presenting to diverse group of employees including Sr Leadership
  4. Strong collaborative skills
  5. Must be solutions oriented
  6. Excellent project and time management skills
  7. Demonstrated capacity to take initiative and ability to adapt to changing landscape
  8. Knowledgeable in latest research, trends, and best practices in promoting workplace diversity, equity and inclusion

This role is an exempt position, and the salary range for this position is $85,680 - $113,526. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
