Job Description
The PCT Star Team may be expected to work in various areas of Baptist Healthcare (to include but not limited to Baptist Hospital, Gulf Breeze Hospital, Emergency Departments and Jay Hospital) to provide support to licensed team members. Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, the Patient Care Technician performs a variety of routine duties to assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care. This position spends the majority of his or her time interacting with, assisting, and supporting our patients. Through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors. He/she performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel the PCT performs a variety of routine duties to assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care. Responsibilities What you will do
