The Role

Our new Marketing Automation Solutions Architect will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our Marketing Cloud instance, Data Cloud connection, and work with Mulesoft; ensuring seamless execution of marketing campaigns, and maximizing the platform's potential to drive engagement and revenue. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with a strong understanding of Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and Mulesoft functionalities and best practices. This role will also serve as the first line of support for the email marketing team.

What Will You Do?



  • Design, develop, and implement complex marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, leveraging Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, CloudPages, and Mobile Studio.
  • Architect and implement data integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems, including CRM, e-commerce platforms, and data warehouses, using MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
  • Develop and maintain custom AMPscript and SQL queries to support advanced marketing campaigns and data segmentation.
  • Optimize Marketing Cloud performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data processing and campaign execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Marketing Cloud and data integrations.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Train marketing users on Marketing Cloud functionalities and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for Marketing Cloud configurations, integrations, and processes.
  • Implement and maintain data security and compliance standards within Marketing Cloud and integrated systems.
  • Build and maintain API integrations between systems and Marketing Cloud.
  • Work with developers and data engineers to build and maintain data pipelines.


What Will You Bring?



  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) Engineering, math, computer science, information technology or related discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Cloud Engineer or Data Developer.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud core functionalities and architecture.
  • Proven experience integrating Marketing Cloud with other systems using MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Deep understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certifications preferred.
  • Experience working in a complex global technology company is preferred
  • Bonus: You have strong technical acumen and comprehension of architecture.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Bonus: Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) and its integration with Marketing Cloud.
  • Bonus: Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Marketing Cloud Developer and/Or Consultant Certification preferred
  • Data Cloud or Mulesoft certificates



Pay Scale:$100,980 - $132,536

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
