TEKsystems in partnership with a leading healthcare client in Onley, MD, is seeking a patient service representative! Description - Check-in/out - Pre-authorizations (can train on this if needed) Probably a list of 10-12 codes, very repetitive Just an understanding of why this is needed - Front desk medical administration - Registration - Insurance verification - Scheduling procedures--working with MMMC to book cases/surgical needs Communicating with internal staff and patients Typically scheduling for GI/Cath lab - Working alongside someone else Speaking with 140+ patients per week (about 30 per day) Skills Prior authorization, Epic, Emr, Medical terminology, Customer service, Ehr, Customer support, register, medical record Top Skills Details Prior authorization,Epic,Emr,Medical terminology Additional Skills & Qualifications - Associates Degree Preferred not required -tech savvy with ALL Microsoft Suite such as word, excel, outlook, etc. -Comfortable in a Patient Facing AND Prior authorizations Procedure scheduling Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
