Description
Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager regarding daily processing of transactions in the A/P and A/R systems and general accounting functions for business unit(s) or group assigned.

- Processing sales invoices to customers from ERP system, applying cash receipts from remittance advice, researching customer issues as it relates to accounting department functions.
- Accurately entering vendor invoices into ERP system, against the packing slip and Purchase Order. Obtaining budget manager approval on purchases outside PO process and allocate the invoice correctly. Researching and responding to Supplier issues and/or issues.
- Entering and verifying the accuracy of transactions with limited supervision from Accounting Manager.
- Preparing spreadsheets monthly and quarterly to support Balance Sheet review for Accounting Manager and annual audit.
- Preparing and maintaining journal entries, trial balances and financial statements.
- Reconciling bank statements timely and accurately for Accounting Manager Review.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal accounting and control procedures.
- Performing other duties as necessary.
Bring Your Expertise:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance preferred.
- 5 or more years' experience in bookkeeping, corporate accounting or general ledger accounting. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and ERP software (Epicor preferred).
- Must be detail oriented, excellent communication and organization skills.
