Multimedia Communications Specialist

Part-Time (20-25 hours/week)

Massillon, Ohio

We are seeking a creative and detail-orientedMultimedia Communications Specialistto join our team on a part-time basis. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing, producing, and editing engaging video content that supports both internal and external communications initiatives, including our social media channels. The ideal candidate will have strong video production and editing skills, a flair for storytelling, and some experience with graphic design.

Your Seat at the Table:

• Video Storytelling:Develop concepts, write scripts, and create compelling stories for a variety of video projects (e.g., employee spotlights, company news, product updates, and social media content).
• Video Production:Record, edit, and produce high-quality video content for internal communications (such as company updates) and external platforms (including social media and corporate website).
• Graphic Design Support:Create or edit basic graphics, lower thirds, and visual assets to enhance video and multimedia projects.
• Content Planning:Collaborate with the communications team to plan and schedule video content aligned with organizational goals and campaigns.
• Social Media Support:Adapt video content for various social media platforms, ensuring messaging and format are optimized for each channel.
• Brand Consistency:Ensure all video and graphic content aligns with company branding guidelines and tone of voice.
• Project Coordination:Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate progress with stakeholders.
• Performance Tracking:Assist in monitoring video engagement metrics and provide recommendations for future content based on analytics.

What you Bring to the Table:

• Proven experience in video production, editing, and storytelling (portfolio or work samples required).
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Cloud products, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
• Experience using DSLR cameras for video production, and experience setting up shots with audio and lighting equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in a corporate communications or marketing role is a plus, as is experience using Canva as a video production and graphic design tool.
