About the Role We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Assistant Site Merchandiser to join our Creative Operations team. This role serves as a critical link between Brand Merchants and Creative Production - ensuring seamless alignment between merchandising strategies and creative execution. You'll help bring the brand vision to life through cross-functional collaboration, on-set coordination, and a passion for best-in-class product storytelling. Responsibilities
- Bridge Merchandising & Creative
Partner closely with Brand Merchants and Creative teams to ensure alignment on seasonal priorities, category launches, and product storytelling. - Campaign & Shoot Coordination
Act as the merchandising lead on set - supporting with product adds/removals, building decks, and sourcing props or product anchors as needed. - Creative Asset Quality
Drive asset excellence by reducing reshoots and retouching needs. Proof assets for accuracy and flag discrepancies prior to site launch. - On-Set Operations
Help facilitate daily stand-ups while on location to keep teams aligned. Flag damaged samples to Producers to ensure proper handling. - Pre-Season & In-Season Planning
Meet weekly with Merch and Creative partners to track in-season shoots and plan for upcoming seasons - monitoring sample availability, investment shifts, and tariff-related changes. - Budget Awareness & Efficiencies
Identify cost-saving opportunities, such as reusing past assets or proposing more efficient production and talent solutions. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Help partners balance profitability goals with business needs by validating creative concepts against seasonal strategies and providing thoughtful adjustments. - Timeline Management
Communicate photo timelines, sample tracking, and assortment updates (in Airtable) with cross-functional teams to ensure everything stays on track. - Shoot Scheduling
Coordinate location and lifestyle shoots around sample availability, ensuring timely asset delivery by season and drop date.
What You Bring
- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Proficiency in Excel; comfortable using formulas and pivot tables
- Experience with Airtable preferred; familiarity with Figma and Workfront a plus

Criteria
- 2-3 years experience in eCommerce, retail, site merchandising, or production
- Strong affinity for product and concept, with interest in how backend systems connect to the web and shape user experience
- Proven analytical and business-planning skills
- Ability to make timely decisions, anticipate challenges, and offer creative solutions
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments - especially on-set, where many moving parts require agility and problem-solving
- A passion for delivering best-in-class creative assets and site experiences
- This role requires being onsite in our Dumbo Office OR our Industry City Photo Studio Monday through Thursday, and Friday as optional. Occasional travel to location shoots in the tri-state area.

This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. The expected starting pay range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
