A Day in the Life:

Responsible for moving edible oil from railcars/trucks to storage tanks per the production schedule. Individual should have a working knowledge of Production/Rail equipment and Safety requirements in a Production/Manufacturing/Rail environment.

Position Details:

Monday-Friday 3-11:30pm Pay starting at $25.88

Overtime hours and weekends as required. Must be able to work a flexible and/or rotating work schedule to meet demands of peak volume.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Verify tank car or truck load numbers to ensure car placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions.
  • Sample Trucks and Railcars for lab analysis.
  • Operate railroad tank car or truck unloading equipment, including pumps and hoses.
  • Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks, coordinating activities with other workers.
  • Coordinate rail switch with the Railroad.
  • Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers.
  • Work from height and fall protection required.
  • Perform all assignments safely, satisfactorily, and maintain good attendance.
  • Actively participate in the company's food safety and quality programs.
  • Commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills required.
  • Able to read and understand English language with good verbal communication.
  • Candidate must be team player, collaborative, results oriented with good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work outside regardless of weather conditions required.
  • Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift required.
  • Attention to detail is required.
