Overview

We are seeking our new Customer Engagement & Events Specialist to join the Axway team!

We are seeking a Customer Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic Customer Experience Team. This role offers the opportunity to design impactful customer engagement events and foster a thriving customer community. You will play a vital role in building lasting relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and that they feel valued and connected. Here, you'll enhance your expertise in customer engagement while shaping meaningful connections with customers and partners.

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include organizing in-person and virtual User Group and Customer Advisory Councils, where customers learn, share feedback and connect with each other, as well as supporting online customer community.

The focus of the Customer Engagement Specialist is to advance, monitor, and grow Axway's customer engagement activities to increase collaboration and global knowledge sharing across Axway's customer and partner ecosystem.

Location Hybrid - Preferred location: Scottsdale, Arizona.

We welcome candidates based in the Western U.S. who can collaborate effectively across time zones but are flexible.



Responsibilities

    Plan and organize the in-person and virtual User Group and Customer Advisory Council engagement events:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate tailored content for engagement events, ensuring agendas and materials align with customer needs and expectations.
  • Execute promotional and logistics aspects for events, including invitation distribution, managing meeting locations, catering, transportation and related items, as well as registration and post-event reporting and follow-up actions.
  • Gather customer insights based on the event feedback, report analysis regularly and contribute to Axway's Voice of the Customer program.
  • Assist with external community online programs to develop and implement community promotion, engagement strategies and tactics while supporting community end-users, which entails activities, such as moderating forums, responding to inquiries, or creating content for community engagement.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and technologies
  • Keen curiosity for understanding customer needs to enhance insights
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with international and geographically distributed co-workers
  • Skilled in engaging stakeholders and negotiating effectively
  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (10%)

Technical skills

  • Experience with virtual meeting platform and collaboration tools
  • Marketo, Salesforce CRM & Experience Cloud, and PowerBI
  • Solid experience with Office 365
  • Understanding of web technologies

Preferred but not required

  • Familiarity with the enterprise software industry
  • A second language, French a plus
  • Experience working with customers
