What can you expect in the Inside Sales Support position?

We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Inside Sales Support professional to join our Applications Engineering team. While this role is embedded in a technical group, you don't need an engineering background, just a strong sense of organization, clear communication skills, and a desire to keep sales processes running smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is organized, responsive, and enjoys working across teams. If you like working behind the scenes to help bring projects to life, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Sales & Applications Team: Help gather and organize key project details to support the development of sales proposals and automation solutions.
  • Customer Communication: Reach out to customers to collect missing information and clarify project details.
  • Vendor Coordination: Request quotes, lead times, and product info from vendors and suppliers for automation components and subsystems.
  • Document & Proposal Support: Assist in preparing polished, professional sales proposals by organizing scope details, editing content, and formatting documents.
  • Internal Project Setup: Work with engineers to help kick off internal job tracking and documentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred
  • At least 12 months of experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative role
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or B2B environment preferred
