West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech) is a divisional campus of West Virginia University (WVU) focused on four-year undergraduate education. The campus is located in Beckley, West Virginia, near the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, world-class whitewater rafting, and other outdoor recreation activities. WVU Tech is currently inviting applications for the following employment opportunity: The Department of Mathematics in the School of Arts and Sciences invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor starting August 15, 2025. This is a 9-month, full-time, in-person position with full benefits. The successful candidate will teach 11-15 credit hours per semester, including college algebra through differential equations courses. No university service or scholarship is expected for this position.
