JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate service activities, manage purchases and shipments. Focuses on of the following areas: Field service coordination, workshop repair, asset management and performance reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates service activities with internal and external groups and other business units
  • Coordinates with customers to determine replacement parts and modules required
  • Creates packing slips and material requisitions for deliveries
  • Maintains data integrity within the inventory systems for materials
  • Coordinates and tracks all purchases with Finance department
  • Determines requirements for the purchase of spares, modules and assembles
  • Prepares ERA, Sales Order and Purchase Requisitions and maintain online systems
  • Purchase supplies and equipment required by department
  • Coordinates and assists workshop technicians to obtain material required for repairs
  • Assists in determining long lead-time material items to be ordered
  • Analyzes current inventories to determine the attrition to determine what is required to be ordered
  • Provides supervisor with status update on open calls and issues to be resolved where materials are involved
  • Control and tracks service vehicles, as well as customer and company assets
  • Coordinates all shipments to/from project operators, vendors and 3rd Party Repair facilities
  • Acts as liaison to other departments gathering information required to produce performance reports
  • Assists with providing monthly reports about asset management; performance reports from system operations; overall performance reports (internal and external)
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System.
  • Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures.
  • Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of relevant organizations.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • One to two years of related experience. Experience in Customer Service or a Business environment is desirable with focus in Field Service, Customer Service and/or Inventory Control is desirable.
  • Familiarity with standard office applications and basic data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established procedures and adapt to occasional deviations.
  • Strong communication skills for addressing customer needs and internal coordination.
  • Basic problem-solving abilities, showing willingness to learn and grow.

Cubic Pay Range:

$17.80 - $24.48 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
