Job Description

SCHEDULE:

This is a1st shift position, 6:00am - 2:30pm, with a starting rate of $15.19 per hour.

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of developmental requirements in pre-production projects. Works from rough schematics, blueprints and oral instructions to construct developmental assemblies, sub-assemblies and components. May perform rework and quality testing. Work typically includes interaction with development and/or manufacturing engineering personnel.

RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Complete mechanical assembly based on provided work instructions. Responsible for using proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures. Responsible for performing housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Set-up and operate assembly equipment (hand tools, pneumatic tools, lifts, etc.). Ability to embrace change and respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities. Ability to perform basic functions with computer.

  • Mechanical Ability

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 1 year of related work experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic Computer Literacy

  • Basic Reading and Writing

  • 1+ years of related experience in electronic or mechanical field preferred
