NI-Advanced Practice Provider, Interventional Radiology

Job Summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic Interventional Radiology team. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional with preferred minimum of 2 years of advanced practice experience. The role involves working closely with a physician in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform and assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures
  • Conduct patient rounding, providing comprehensive care to both pediatric and adult patients
  • Manage and interpret diagnostic imaging results
  • Participate in first-call coverage during work hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans


Qualifications:



  • Master's degree from accredited PA program or completion of a master's level advanced practice nurse program.
  • Active APRN or PA license in State of IL and active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • Preferred 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field
  • Strong procedural skills and experience in patient management
  • Excellent communication and effective teamworking skills
