The Senior Director of Enterprise Analytics is a strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide data and analytics initiatives that support Renown's mission, vision, and strategic imperatives. This role is accountable for delivering a multi-year analytics program that enhances clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability. The Senior Director partners with executive leadership, clinical teams, and operational departments to translate complex data into actionable insights, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards. The position requires expertise in data governance, predictive analytics, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful information to support decision-making. Strategy & Planning: * Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with Renown's long-term strategic plan and enterprise priorities. * Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization. * Establish and oversee data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, compliance, and ethical use. * Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities to leverage data for competitive advantage, cost optimization, and improved patient outcomes. * Collaborate with IT and platform leaders to ensure scalable, secure, and interoperable data infrastructure. * Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning and risk mitigation. Accountability & Financial Stewardship * Own the analytics portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, measurable outcomes, and alignment with budgetary goals. * Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to maximize ROI. * Implement performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of analytics initiatives and drive continuous improvement. * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and internal audit requirements. Team Building & Talent Development * Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing analytics team with expertise in data science, business intelligence, and data engineering. * Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture that supports professional growth and cross-functional engagement. * Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across departments to elevate organizational analytics maturity. Executive Leadership Team. * Establish data governance frameworks and policies to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Lead strategic and operational planning for Renown's data analytics practices, focusing on meeting business needs and requirements through data functions. * Identify opportunities for the organization to further leverage data and improve its economic, competitive, and operational positioning. * Coordinate with IT and platform leaders to support requirements and implementation. * Understand and manage customer service * Understand and monitor the regulatory and security requirements for data related to the industry in which the organization operates; ensuring compliance and proper protection occurs. * Understand the different business requirements for data (marketing, finance, operations, etc.). * Lead management reviews and opportunity assessment processes that identify improvement opportunities related to process efficiency, cost savings, business model expansion, and competitive advantages. Data Insights: * Lead the development of advanced analytics capabilities, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and real-time dashboards. * Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders. * Guide the design and implementation of analytics solutions that support population health, care coordination, and value-based care initiatives. * Ensure analytics outputs are aligned with Renown's quality, safety, and patient experience goals. Operational Management: * Oversee the integration and optimization of analytics platforms, data warehouses, and reporting tools. * Ensure dependable, secure, and efficient delivery of analytics services through robust governance and service-level agreements. * Collaborate with IT, compliance, and clinical informatics to ensure data accessibility, interoperability, and regulatory alignment. * Drive operational efficiencies through data automation, process improvement, and strategic insight generation.
