*Description*
We are seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Instructional Designer to join our dynamic Learning Design team. This role supports the development of high-stakes, compliance-driven training programs for pilots in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. You will be responsible for designing and developing engaging, accurate, and efficient learning experiences that meet FAA regulations and internal standards. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop instructional content for pilot training, including e-learning modules, simulations, and blended learning experiences. * Translate complex technical and regulatory content into clear, engaging, and accessible learning materials. * Collaborate with SMEs, media production, and LMS teams to ensure seamless integration of content. * Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to meet the needs of diverse learner demographics (Baby Boomers to Gen Z). * Ensure all training materials are 100% accurate, downloadable, and compliant with FAA and internal standards. * Incorporate innovative learning strategies and technologies to enhance retention and engagement. * Participate in quality control reviews and maintain documentation standards. * Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. *Required Qualifications* * 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a compliance-heavy or technical industry. * Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, and e-learning development tools. * Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and accessibility standards. * Experience working with Learning Management Systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors). * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. * Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience designing training for aviation, military, or similarly high-stakes industries. * Familiarity with AI-enhanced learning tools and knowledge management systems. * Video editing skills for screen capture and instructional media. * Experience working with unionized workforces and understanding of training cost implications. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
