From your PASSION to ours

As an AP Analyst at Lactalis Heritage Dairy (LHD), you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts payable processes. Your responsibilities will include accurately processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and tracking customer payments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain financial records, and support the overall financial health of the organization.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

  • Resolves escalated/complex issues within AP.
  • Monitors transactions performed by team.
  • Investigates and resolves escalated level inquiries from internal and external.
  • Analyzes key reports for data integrity; diagnoses errors and makes necessary corrections.
  • Review and approve Concur expenses daily.
  • Resolve accounts payable issues while interacting with vendors.
  • Researches and resolves invoice errors, discrepancies, and validation holds to ensure the timely processing of invoices.
  • Analyzes and recommends improvements of accounts payable process and internal controls.
  • Assists with developing new processes/procedures as LHD completes Transitional Service Agreement (TSA)
  • Actively involved in testing of AP Payables module and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to make improvements of procedures and systems.
  • Responds to external vendors and internal managers in a timely manner regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, including processing invoices for payment, recording sales tax and reconciling employee expenses.
  • Communicates effectively in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner always.
  • Responds to vendors and internal stakeholders regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process, which includes payments to vendors and reimbursements to individuals.
  • Audits selected accounts payable transactions for completeness, accuracy, and conformity to LHD policy, IRS regulations, and generally accepted accounting standards.
  • Ensures quality of payment processing and reporting within assigned deadlines to avoid IRS and other government penalties.
  • Ensures timely payment of vendor invoices through matching of purchase orders, requesting invoices from vendors and monitoring of all payment authorizations to payment completion.
  • Processes and accurately validates electronic (imaged) vendor invoices and credit memos in the Oracle ERP System (SAP).
  • Processes foreign currency payments, manual checks, wire transactions, and other specialty exception payments.
  • Participates in month-end and year-end close process.
  • Performs general disbursement related functions and/or projects as directed by the AP Manager.
  • Keeps informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.
  • Performs a variety of operating or cost accounting activities which require moderate knowledge of accounting theories and principles.
  • Performs other related work as needed.

  • Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field or 3-5 years' experience in role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 3-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Food Industry preferred.
  • Must be dependable and be able to work well within a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hybrid Work Model - 3 Days Onsite
  • SAP, Concur, Oracle
