How You'll Contribute to the Team: The Vice President, Strategic Suppliers is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers that support installation services on military bases. This role exists to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of contracted services across multiple locations. By combining strategic sourcing expertise with strong vendor relationship and contract management skills, the position plays a key role in optimizing service quality, ensuring contractual compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the company's operations. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Strategic Sourcing: Own the development of the subcontract eco system from networking to sourcing, evaluating and selecting, and managing and improving. Across various locations and ensuring that vendors are sourced in alignment with organizational needs and budget considerations.
- Procurement: Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including drafting requirements, issuing bid documents, coordinating vendor Q&A, and compiling responses for evaluation. Ensure timely execution of vendor selection and purchase order creation in alignment with internal procurement procedures.
- Contracting: Negotiate contracts with external vendors, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with company policies, and alignment with business objectives. This includes owning the cross functional relationship with legal, insurance, risk management, and compliance teams at Vitacorps.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key vendors and contractors. Act as the primary point of contact for vendors across multiple locations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and measure the performance of service providers against agreed-upon SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Ensure services are being delivered according to the terms of the contract, to include timelines and resolving any performance or quality issues promptly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, IT, legal, finance, and in-field teams, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of contracted services across various locations. Additionally, work to develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) that establish clear guidelines, enhance operational efficiency, facilitate delivery at scale, and ensure consistency in execution.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all contracts and services comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to contract performance or vendor relationships. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all contracts, performance metrics, and vendor communications. Provide regular updates and reports to management on contract status, performance, and any ongoing issues.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage the budget for outsourced services across multiple locations, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high service standards.
- Improvement and Innovation: Develop a culture of continuous improvement to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and innovation.

Role Specific Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field and/or equivalent experience required. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in sourcing and managing contracts for services across multiple locations or regions.
- Experience in managing services within specific industries (e.g., facilities management, IT services, logistics) preferred.
- Previous experience and knowledge of the requirements for providing installation services under government contracts is preferred
- Experience with international contract sourcing and multi-location management is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze performance data and implement improvements.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and legal requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in contract management software, MS Office, and relevant project management tools.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess proposals, performance data, and market trends.
- Knowledge of financial management to effectively handle budgeting, cost analysis, and financial negotiations.
- Demonstrated understanding of contract and regulatory requirements to ensure all agreements are compliant.

Exceptional Benefits for Exceptional Team Members The salary range for this position is estimated to be $195,000 to $210,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
