Job Description

The Program Coordinator works under the supervision of the Director of Alumni Engagement and in close collaboration with the Executive Director for Advancement, the Dean, other advancement team members, and college faculty and staff.

The person in this position will be instrumental in fostering engagement with alumni and donors within the Trulaske College of Business. The primary responsibility will involve ensuring our donors receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve, strengthening their connection to our mission. Additionally, this person will play a key role in the coordination and execution of events for the College, its alumni, and donors. Collaboration with various departments and boards within the College will be key, underscoring the importance of cohesive teamwork in advancing our objectives.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with planning and execution of high-profile alumni and donor events, including the Herbert J. Davenport Society dinner, Honors Luncheon, and Celebration of Success Luncheon.
  • Assist with planning and execution of engagement opportunities and events for alumni, donors, and friends of the college.
  • Plan and execute select departmental and college events.
  • Coordinate the stewardship plan for scholarship donors. This will include coordinating the process to obtain student thank you notes and profiles for donors and collaborating with advancement team to create opportunities for donors to meet their scholarship recipients.
  • Serve as liaison for the Recent Alumni Advisory Board. Work closely with RAAB members to plan and execute engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate surveys and post-event follow up.
  • Select and order promotional items for the college. This includes budgeting, ordering, tracking, and maintaining an inventory items.
  • Provide necessary updates for all recognition plaques on an annual basis.
  • Address donor relations concerns as necessary.
  • Positively represent the University of Missouri and the Trulaske College of Business at all times.
  • Assist with other development projects as needed.
Shift

Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM, with some nights and weekends

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary: $21.28 - $25.00 an hour

Grade: GGS-009
