Senior Contracts Administrator HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide. Summary This position is responsible for the negotiation and preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of contracts and subcontracts. Performs a variety of complex tasks and advises internal departments regarding contract requirements. Position negotiates, prepares, manages contracts, and performs contract closeouts. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret government contracts, federal clauses, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contract Management systems; Database software; Project Management software; Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Deltek software a plus. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
