Position Summary

The person in this position will be responsible for implementing system test strategies, assist with hardware troubleshooting and support, and creating documentation for testing electronic gaming machines, gaming tables, and all associated hardware components. Additionally, this role will be validating performance and functionality of electrical systems and hardware test suite related to LnW product lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Writes, reviews, interprets, and executes test requirements and specifications.

  • Works together with product design teams to determine test parameters, establish guidelines, troubleshoot issues, develop strategies to optimize operations, and create test plans.

  • Ensures product testing for internal and external performance/quality requirements.

  • Validates functional test kits for hardware assemblies to be used by vendors.

  • Troubleshoot designs using test equipment and proper analysis techniques.

  • Creates comprehensive and clear documentation of test procedures and technical reports.

  • Summarizes, analyzes, and presents testing results in a clear and concise manner.

  • Assumes responsibility for the accuracy of work processes and flow of multiple tasks.

Training and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in test and manufacturing processes of electro-mechanical assemblies.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • General knowledge of electrical engineering theory, principles, and procedures

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies

  • Familiar with modern testing equipment, e.g. oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, multi-meters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers

  • Ability to troubleshoot with minimal guidance.

  • Initiative and responsibility for individual performance

  • Effectively manages time to perform multiple tasks.

  • Assesses multiple demands, competing priorities and identifies necessary resources to handle critical work demands.

  • Meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Excellent documentation skills

  • Follows directions according to protocols and methods.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
