Staffmark is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join a growing team in Jacksonville, AR. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact on procurement strategy and vendor relations.

Pay: $35,000-$45,000/year (Depending on experience.)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Execute purchasing policies through actionable plans
  • Lead cost forecasting, reduction, and containment efforts
  • Evaluate and manage vendor performance and relationships
  • Coordinate with Engineering on product/material demonstrations
  • Compare vendor bids and work with internal teams on purchasing decisions
  • Manage purchase order changes, cancellations, and claims
  • Generate SAP debit memos for rejected or removed inventory
  • Support vendor audits and performance reviews
  • Obtain approvals for POs over $1,000



Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • Strong negotiation, analysis, and communication skills
  • ERP experience required (SAP preferred)
  • Proven track record in vendor management and cost savings
  • Detail-oriented and collaborative
