Capital Projects System Specialist - Fulltime - South Market Capital

GENERAL SUMMARY: Trimble/eBuilder application is the Henry Ford Health system-wide capital project and construction management system and impacts all aspects of construction, renovation and development projects. Reporting to the Director, Capital Projects Systems and Sourcing, the Capital Projects System Specialist role and responsibilities are focused on tracking and monitoring capital project budgets, commitments, and costs in HFHS Trimble/e-Builder system. This includes vendor/contractor invoice submissions, uploading/entry of purchase orders, ongoing reconciliations between eBuilder and Peoplesoft, maintenance of budgets and approved funding, and report generation. In this role, the Specialist will participate in training and provide support to internal and external users. The Specialist will ensure project documents are complete before updated or uploaded into the Trimble/eBuilder system and maintained within stated processed and guidelines. The Specialist will liaise with internal and external users and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate inputs and outputs to the system.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: This new position for the HF system is due to the installation and use of the Trimble/eBuilder project management system. As such relevant work experience with system applications such as PeopleSoft and other software applications used in supply chain are most important to the job duties.

1. High School Diploma required. Bachelors Degree preferred.

2. Requires a minimum of two (2) years experience with PeopleSoft.

3. High-level proficiency in PeopleSoft and other database applications used in supply chain management

4. Knowledge and use of Microsoft Teams and other desktop applications to optimize the effectiveness of the work teams supporting the design, implementation, and reporting processes.

5. Experience with dashboard development and/or maintenance of systems such as Power BI (preferred)

6. Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

7. Ability to apply innovative solutions to improve and troubleshoot work processes and issues

8. Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

9. Strong teamwork skills with internal and external stakeholders

10. Ability to prepare, interpret, and maintain flowcharts spreadsheets, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
