Job Description This position drives gasoline or diesel-powered tractor to move loaded and empty shipping containers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Uses tractor to move loaded or empty trailers to and from depending on location the port, rail yard, warehouse, and yard. * Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. * Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and completes pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed. * Serves as a relief driver during peak periods or when drivers are not available. * Other duties as they are assigned. Job Requirements * CDL class A required * T.W.I.C. (Transportation Worker ID Credential) Card, allows access to the Ports * Must be 21 years of age. * Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance. * Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start. * Excellent communication, both written and verbal. * Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, and inventory processes preferred.
