Finance Analyst- Accounting COE

The primary responsibility of the Global Accounting CoE is to serve as the global accounting subject matter experts. Members of the CoE obtain an understanding of current company-wide accounting policies, ensure Company processes adhere to those accounting policies, and operationalize accounting with a focus on standardization and efficiency. This position will assist the Global Accounting COE Mapping Supervisor with all global legacy system (R12, Navision, ProJ, etc.) mappings to the Oracle Cloud General Ledger. This individual will also assist the global review of suspense balances. Lastly, the position will have exposure to various cross functional teams within the Company including Global Reporting, Accounting Policy, Controllership, Treasury, Shared Business Services (SBS) and Commercial Finance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS



  • Assist with reviewing, understanding and clearing domestic and international suspense accounts.
  • Assist with the maintenance of mappings between domestic and international subsystems and Oracle Cloud General Ledger.
  • Assist with intercompany workbench transaction processing and various ledger reclasses related to mapping changes.
  • Assist with addressing mapping requests as tickets are submitted. This includes researching details, processing tickets for approval and logging changes.
  • Prepare RCM reconciliations related to suspense balances, including applicable supporting documentation.
  • Special Projects - Assist with key Company accounting and finance initiatives such as Business Integrated Operating Systems project (BIOS) mappings related to Oracle Cloud subledger implementations, automaton projects and other general accounting and intercompany initiatives as necessary.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree with Major in Accounting or Finance


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, auditing and/or financial analysis
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Microsoft Office experience


Preferred:



  • Familiar with Oracle and/or OneStream


TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
