Description

As our Operation Planning Engineer Co-op, you'll analyze future operating conditions on the Bulk Electric System and help determine safe and reliable paths for maintenance and new construction. Your work ensures MISO can prepare for the grid of tomorrow.

You'll gain hands-on experience with:
- Power system analysis tools and grid modeling software
- Real-world contingency analysis and system studies
- Model validation and operational project support

Education
Some college of Electrical Engineering (required)
Experience
Hands-on projects or internships related to grid modeling or system studies. (preferred)
Programming experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or C++). (preferred)
Completion of Power Systems Analysis coursework. (preferred)
Completion of core Electrical Engineering courses. (required)
